Participated in cosplay and went to “NICONICO CHOKAIGI” on 4/29.

Event Participation Record

Hi,this is SHIAr.
During Golden Week (Japanese Holidays), on April 29, I went to the Nico Nico Ultra Conference.

It’s a little late, but I’d like to make a memorandum.

Changing Rooms and Exposure Control

I followed the flow of people and was able to get to the venue without getting lost.

It is a bit of a walk from the station, but the directions were perfect and the transition was smooth.

As soon as we arrived at the venue with the flow of people, we were guided to the changing rooms, so we were able to get to the changing rooms without hesitation.

The changing room venue has blue sheets laid out on a carpeted floor, and the style is to sit directly on them.

What surprised me was the strictness of the “Exposure Control” checks.
(Ensure that no excessive skin is visible or overly sexualized before leaving the locker room.)

I was going to play a character called “Yulha” from NIKKE,
It was so exposed that I originally honestly wondered if I would be able to do it….
(I took measures in case it didn’t work out…)

I was curious about this, and I had one eye on the exposure check near the doorway to the locker room,

  • Even if you wear a skirt, you must wear something inside.
  • If you are dressed like a bunny girl, you must wear tights (mesh tights were not allowed).
  • Bare skin is not allowed.

I had a strong image of “NICONICO CHOKAIGI is loose,” so I felt that it was so strict that it left a lasting impression on me.

This photo was taken at a studio earlier. This one is out of exposure control because both the front and the back are showing…

I wore pants for protection and cleared the exposure check without any difficulty.

Cosplay area and photos of the day

The cosplay area was pretty empty in the morning.
(Although in the afternoon, the number of visitors increased rapidly.)

Here are a few photos that were taken.

The atmosphere of the venue and the place where the photo was taken

To be honest, I don’t think I would have them taken very nicely at an event,
But I always admire the genius photographers who choose the right location without compromising on the “depth feeling,” “light,” “good background,” and so on.

I went to the NIKKE booth, which was a big hit, saw a live performance, watched a ”SHOGI” game, visited the Self-Defense Forces booth, and had a lot of fun at event.

As a side note, there were some people in the cosplay area who were cosplaying in some pretty outrageous costumes.
I don’t know how they managed to get through the locker room checks….
Maybe it depended on who was checking.

In my next entry, I will write about what I thought about participating.xoxo
